SPU Flight Academy was established in 1989 at Säve Flygplats with a mission to make the path to becoming a commercial pilot accessible, structured, and impactful. Starting as a modest flight school, SPU has grown into one of Sweden’s largest and most reputable pilot training institutions, preparing students to take their place in cockpits around the world.
From day one, our focus has been on providing a robust and well-organized program for aspiring commercial pilots. Our curriculum supports both modular and integrated training paths, offering students flexibility while maintaining rigorous standards. With modern aircraft, up-to-date training plans, and a team of experienced instructors, we ensure that every graduate leaves with a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and is ready for a career in commercial aviation.
The integrated Airline Program takes 20 months to complete and includes everything you need to become a commercial pilot.
YH Integrated Helicopter Program takes 26 months to complete and results in a commercial helicopter license with ATPL-theory.
We offer a wide range of training courses for both airplane and helicopter pilots to stay current or to expand their competence.
